We are of the firm belief that property prices will increase in Thailand, due to demand from clients of a wide range of nationalities and not just from those living within close proximity.
Europeans, particularly those from the northern countries, such as Scandinavia, the UK, Ireland, France, Belgium and Germany looking for better winter weather and a lower cost of living in retirement, and who are able to refinance equity from their main residence due to the doubling of prices in the last 5 years are steadily buying and their numbers are increasing.
Combining these purchasers with those from the USA, Canada and Australia and the new emerging wealth from China and India ensures a healthy future demand. We are excited about the potential for capital gains and rental revenue from properties in Thailand.
